Can i use a regular Compressor to add a clear coat to mi car?

I will like to add clear coat to my car and will like to know if i can use a normal compressor for add it on mi car, or i need a better compressor.Can i use a regular Compressor to add a clear coat to mi car?
the regular compressor will work just make sure you run the air thru a filter/ dryer first.Can i use a regular Compressor to add a clear coat to mi car?
you really need a strong compressor to maintain a constant air pressure while you spray. not to mention that all compressors put water in the lines without a dryer system and that will ruin a paint job. also, i don't know why you want to clear without color first. painter since '83.
