My bus the clear coat is flaking off. its an older bus. What can i do to take this clear coat off.?

its flaking little by little from the top going down. i need to strip it all off somehow. ive been scraping little flecks off for days but thats not cutting it.My bus the clear coat is flaking off. its an older bus. What can i do to take this clear coat off.?

The easiest way is to use compressed air. Take the nozzle %26amp; put it close to where the clear is flaking and continue to spray air until the loose clear stops flying off. At that point you could sand the areas smooth and recoat w/clear. The best solution would be to to do that then use a sealer or epoxy primer to cover the entire vehicle, then repaint with a single stage acrylic polyurethane topcoat. Then you wouldn't need to worry about a clearcoat.
Try using a new single edged razor blade
