there are a couple paint chips/sanded off spots, and i'd like to avoid buying more paint if i can. I'm using duplicolor autopaints.Should i use sharpie to touch up a guitar paint job before i clear coat?
Sharpies can be a luthier's best friend - especially for black finishes. Buy good quality permanent markers. Solid colors usually darken and you can apply several coats. These touch-ups are often very good alternatives to a refin that can cost more than the guitar is worth.
