I Just finished Painting My Car and i was wondering what do i do after i apply the Clear Coat?

i just finished painting my car and it was a decent job. So i was wondering what am i supposed to do after? Im pretty sure im supposed to buff it?I Just finished Painting My Car and i was wondering what do i do after i apply the Clear Coat?
if it has too much trash in it or if it has too much texture(dry looking, orange peel, or just not smooth enough for your liking) then you need to buff it. don't wait to long to do it as it gets harder with time. especially if you used a cheaper clear. also, you should know how much clear is on it, because it's not hard to sand through it. as others have answered, 2000 grit wet sandpaper is easier to buff out, but it takes more time and sand paper to get results. i recommend using 1000 on the roughest parts and then resand with 1500. it's not hard to buff out 1500 sand scratches. but remember this, sand paper and buffing compound and polish and buffing and polishing pads are expensive, so if it looks good now, leave it alone.I Just finished Painting My Car and i was wondering what do i do after i apply the Clear Coat?
have a good look at it. wet rub if it needs it, or just giv it a good cut{buff}
Let if cure before you wet sand it with 2000 paper (or buff it).
You should wet sand it with 2000 grit and then buff it. The sanding will take the ';orange peel'; look off the car and buffing it brings the shine.
