How can I repair my clear coat on my car?

I drive a red 02 cavalier and about 60 percent of the clear coat has peeled off the trunk. What can I do to fix this. I'm looking for alternatives instead of getting it done and spending all that money.How can I repair my clear coat on my car?

There is no fix.
Buy some 2000 grit wet sand sandpaper and sand it down with a block sander and water. Once it is all off, you can re-clear it or put many many coats of good quality carnuba wax on it.
