I have a pretty nice layer of mostly film (some tar, not much though) on the rocker panels of my car. I want to try and get rid of it once and for all as it has progressivly gotten worse through out the years.
What should I do to get rid of this film?How to remove film from cars clear coat?
I would go to an auto body and paint store to see if they have anything you could use to remove this film.
Years ago there was a DuPont product 3812s fast enamel reducer that was pretty safe for paint and it was available in a quart size.
I know Meguires and Wizards probably have some cleaner product as well.
