Well durning my time at Wyotech for Collision/Refinishing, Any defects in the clear runs/dust etc, you will have to Wet Sand like stated about, you will want to use a a 600 grit to get the defect out of the paint then a1200 grit sand paper to smooth it out and work your way to 2000 grit for that ultra shine make sure your paper stays very wet and doing this ASAP while the clear is still new. Your clear will look a lil hazy at first but a good Buff will make the clear look new! Lil bit of Rubbing Compound then Polishing Compound and your golden. How to get rid of bugs and dust underneath clear coat on freshly painted car.?
The only way to fix it is to wet sand it and redo it with clear coat again. You have to use a tack cloth to get the surface spotlessly clean before you clear coat it. No other way to do it right
Kinda shows why professional shops have paint booths and offer customer satisfaction and lifetime warranties.
