What if ur carbon fiber hood clear coat gets wasted wh\at can u do to make it look as new as possible?

my carbon fiber hood got roasted from da sun wat can i do to give that shine back wax or jus get new clear? What if ur carbon fiber hood clear coat gets wasted wh\at can u do to make it look as new as possible?
Unpainted carbon fiber? I'm not sure it is a clear coat you are looking at. The outer glossy layer of most of the CF layup jobs I've done is actually the top layer of polymer resin. Check with the maufacturer to see if they treated the hood with clearcoat, or whether the outer layer of resin has been damaged.

If it is damaged, restoring the finish is hugely difficult... it may be easier to surface the hood and paint it the color of the car, or replace it.What if ur carbon fiber hood clear coat gets wasted wh\at can u do to make it look as new as possible?
Or why not sand it smooth and paint it the color of the car? Stelth technology and light weight stock look! Rice is so over rated!
I would try the wax if that doesnt work then get new one
Try the wax, if that doesn't work then there is always the body shop and have them shoot a new clear coat. good luck
Unless the people that made the CF hood have never done this before the first layer is a clear gel coat then carbon fiber layers with resin. It may have a clear coat of polyurethane that has baked off and a simple job of sanding it smooth and repainting it with a better clear coat may fix it. The gel coat should not have baked off, unless they were really skimping on materials.

Be careful that you do not sand into the CF as it will loose it's visual appeal.
If the clear coat has sepperated, wax wont help at all. Your best bet is to have it lightly sanded and reshot with clear coat. If it hasnt yet sepperated, then try having it buffed out. Either way, dammaged clear coat usually means a little $ unless you are equiped with a gun and compressor.
