How to remove clear coat from rims?

I have 1 19'; 5 zigen HZR rim that i need to remove the clear coat from. Are there any chemicals out there That will allow me to remove the clear coat without damaging the chrome on the rim lip and without damaging the black on the spokes. Also, once the clear coat is removed, how do i prep the chrome surface to re-take new clear coat? Oh, and what is a good brand of clear coat that dry cures as hard as the original stuff?How to remove clear coat from rims?
Yes you can remove clear coat from the wheels with red, green or white, Rouge buffing compound and a high speed rouge applicator. You can buy this stuff at Harbor Freight Tool and body shops.

getting clearcoat to stick to chrome is very,very hard....which is prob why it is coming off now...make sure they are actully chrome before you use any cheminals on them...
