I have a scratch on my door that is too deep for a rubbing compund but not through the paint. I believe I've seen kits for this type of repair but I'm not sure where or what would be a good one to get. Any info and links would be helpful. ThanksWhere can I find a good clear coat scratch repair kit?
Most good auto parts stores will carry rubbing compounds. I buy from Carquest. Don't buy the cheap kind. Look for a bodyshop quality compound for around $20. 3M makes a good microfinishing compound. Part # 06011
